Today, the world is filled with extreme violence which threatens to burn away the peace on this earth. What has happened to age-old human civilization? Most of the people in today’s world live for themselves, their family or closed ones.
We are civilized but conduct ourselves in an uncivilized manner. No religion, no prophet, no saint has ever asked its followers to shed blood. Masters of any religion or walk of life have only reiterated that as a human race we must live in peace and harmony. Mankind has gone beyond the Earth and set foot on moon and Mars. Having made so much progress, having thus conquered, why does he allow his own humaneness to be vanquished thus? The wise ones know – "Mazahab nahin sikhaata apas mein bair rakhna" which means religion does not teach us to live in conflict with one another.
Oh Human Being! You have been created to adorn and enhance the splendor of our green earth, why then do you bring violence in your serene domain? You are born to create, yet you destroy?
Today, the world screams out for help saying "trahimaam, trahimaam" as it finds itself at gun point, to be blasted into extinction at any moment! Mankind finds itself in the grip of crime and violence, unrest and tension, and the tragic holocausts of nature like the Tsunami and earthquakes only add to the unbearable misery. Our beautiful earth, God’s creation is deformed by receding values and morals in human nature, where humane emotions seem to have almost completely vanished.
Oh you most creative form of Sarveshvar, are not God’s benevolent gifts visible to you at all? Of all the living forms in the world, He has chosen You to be blessed with the power of thought, an intelligent mind and a heart large enough to have compassion and love for all your fellow beings. You must practice generosity and preserve these unique gifts that you have received from the Lord. Enhance the beauty that lies in this wonderful creation. Sujalam, Suphalam, Malayaja Sheetalam – along with your own inherent gifts, you are also blessed with gushing streams, fertile soils and all that you need.
Yet, you reciprocate His magnanimity and boundless love with your sinful deeds. You have digressed from the path of creativity and seem bent on wiping out the essence of all beauty from the face of this magnificent creation. There seems to be an obsession in man to play a destructive role in the saga of creation. I beseech you, my fellow beings, to stop the madness now, to put an end to the immoral actions you indulge yourselves in, before it crosses even God’s threshold of forgiveness.
Only human beings are gifted with the quality of humaneness; let us make an effort to spread non-violence, love, peace and concern for others in every direction of the world, in every pore of humanity. Construct an environment of peaceful co-existence in this great kingdom called Earth. Come, seek His bountiful blessings in your palms and make a place for yourself in the lap of our dear Mother Earth. Come closer to that Paramatman!
Endeavour to make your life so special that it becomes an invaluable chapter in human history. For this, you must instill the qualities of non-violence, love and community living from the teachings of Greats like Mahavira, Buddha, Christ and others.
Om Shanti! Om Shanti!
Krishnagiri thirths motive is to make such people realize or believe in their role or duty towards the society, on how they can contribute in the upbringing the society and hence the whole world. This helps people in today’s world live with friendliness, humanity, peace, love, purity and harmony. Hence the whole concept of Krishnagiri Thirth is to send a strong message to the world that terror, anger, frustration etc does not destroy just whole world but ones true self .But love and friendship will make every individual a better person and a better society hence a beautiful world.
So Come forward my dear friends! Let us take a vow to fill our world, our mother with the jewels of happiness, brotherhood, communal harmony, friendship and peace. Let us wipe away the ugly spots of hatred, greed, anger and ego from the souls of her children and allow the gem of humanity to shine among all cosmic galaxies.
Let the milk of kindness and forgiveness flow through the veins of our civilization! Let every heart become a temple where the light of meditation burns day and night. May we be united as one string, one song, one rhythmic beat, whose primary aim it shall be to create the melodious music of pure bhakti and sacrifice for the Paramatman.
There is only one path that leads to such a goal. It is the path of non-violence, self-control, forgiveness and brotherhood.
Jai Parshwanatha!.
Come...Let us join hands…and let’s make a difference.
